The Murder of Me

After years of being available exclusively on SoundCloud and YouTube, my soundtracks are finally streaming on all major platforms. Some tracks have been changed from their original versions for legal reasons and to improve the overall listening experience. This compilation features music created between 2020–2022 with the exception of Godbound. Although originally completed in 2021, the track was fully overhauled in early 2025. It was initially meant to release alongside another project, but I didn’t want it sitting unreleased any longer after people had been waiting years to hear it. This compilation felt like the perfect moment to finally share it.And if you enjoy Godbound, you might enjoy what’s coming next.

Break The Black Ice

2026

Break The Black Ice is the newest Infernokit album. It's about the struggle of rejecting a predetermined, safely lit road. To walk upon the black ice is to tread on invisible fractures of tension, where every step threatens unknowable consequence. To break it is an act both destructive and liberating. It's a release of the tension, whether within yourself or in your ties to others.Production wise, there's still work to be done but it's a noticeable step up from the last album. My sole mission during the production of this album was to never fucking hear "I can't hear what you're saying!" ever again. I've been told I succeeded :DMusically, this outing is a solemn and melancholic entry. Like any musician, my life is reflected in my music. I wanted to put my tribulations into this little album, call it a time capsule piece, and move on with my life. I wanted to box up my "demons" into a work that cemented them in the past. That ended up having about as much meaning as saying you are going to commit to a "new year, new me."This album asks a lot of questions. It originally answered a lot of them. It doesn't anymore. It even almost had a more lighthearted ending. Somewhere along the way I realized I had no answers, nor was I in the position to give any. I realized that it was a more honest work without an answer, and I realized that having no answers is okay. The uncertainty is the point. In a sense, it still ended up being what I set out to make: a time capsule. I'm not sure if that makes any fucking sense, but feel it out and I'll leave you with this nice press release sounding ending:If Lone Ship was about being lost upon an endless ocean, Break The Black Ice begins when those waters harden into an intimate and unforgiving passage. The path is visible now, but it is dangerous. The question is: what are you willing to endure to follow it?Cover artwork by KillerClouds.

Lone Ship

2023

Lone Ship is my first "real" release. It's the first album to reach streaming services and the clearest early representation of the sound I continue to pursue today. The album contains influences of indie, rock, lo-fi, and synthwave. Fan favorite track Whirlpool was originally featured on this record before I decided to remake it in 2025, as seen above. Other standout tracks include Deep and Tide.At its core, Lone Ship is about drifting. Wanting direction, structure, and progress, but feeling stuck in place, caught between motion and inertia. The songs circle themes of isolation, restlessness, and the quiet frustration of falling short of even the most basic expectations despite best efforts.Although the production doesn't hold up, and some vocal performances needed more time to hit right, I would say much of it holds up songwriting wise. That is, until my ears develop more in like a year or two and I realize they don't hold up at all. For now though, I'd say it's worth a listen.

The Murder of Me: Episode 15 Part 1 OST

2022

Hey, look! This one says "Part 1." When will part 2 come out? Zero clue. But if and when it does happen, I will make a return for it.This project is more or less a continuation of the sounds pursued on the last soundtrack. The main theme is finally introduced here. The music from this project is featured on the The Murder of Me album and remains available as a standalone release on YouTube and SoundCloud.Cover artwork by Gigi Dutreix.

The Murder of Me: Episode 14 OST

2021

For some reason, I didn't give the TMOM soundtracks names after Raw Infinity. I decided to simply call it The Murder of Me: Episode 14 OST. This album contains a wider variety of sounds than it's predecessor, utilizing more orchestral elements, synth pads, bells, percussion, and even backing vocals. The music is notably more dramatic, reflecting the heightened tone and intensity of the source material. Several leitmotifs introduced in Raw Infinity return here and are expanded upon. The fan favorite is ...Felt More Myself which is also a favorite of mine. My personal favorites are I Broke Me and That Star in Your Hands.Fun fact: That Star in Your Hands is the first song I ever composed for TMOM, even before Raw Infinity. It was originally a test to see if my music would be fitting for the series. The song was started and finished in the same evening. Since it meant so much to me, It made it into the final production. The music from this project is featured on the The Murder of Me album and remains available as a standalone release on YouTube and SoundCloud.Cover artwork by Gigi Dutreix.

Raw Infinity

2020

Raw Infinity is the first official soundtrack for The Murder of Me. Many of its leitmotifs are introduced here and recur throughout its successors. The tracks range from eerie, haunting, and somber pieces to calm, peaceful ambient moments, all building toward an emotional climax in the title track. This is the project I feel the most nostalgic for. Although these releases were created as soundtracks for a series, they were made with a lot of passion and, as a result, reflect where I was in my life at the time. Raw Infinity was written during a period when I met some of my closest friends and experienced a great deal of positive personal growth. The music from this project is featured on the The Murder of Me album and remains available as a standalone release on YouTube and SoundCloud.Cover artwork by Gigi Dutreix.

Sublevels

2019

Sublevels is a synthwave/EDM instrumental album and my musical debut as Infernokit. Created before I was comfortable using my voice, the album relies entirely on instrumentals and atmosphere. The tracklist is structured as a metaphor for fluctuating energy levels, specifically the push and pull experienced as an ambivert. The title Sublevels was inspired by electron energy sublevels in chemistry: smaller divisions within larger states of energy. The metaphor doesn't perfectly translate, but I thought it sounded cool and that's what really matters at the end of the day.Postliminary stands out as the most enduring track, and the album as a whole is a clear snapshot of my formative years. Although my sound has evolved greatly since then, I still look back on it fondly and it's a good showcase of my roots. I still love incorporating synthwave elements in my music to this day.The album is only available on YouTube and my long abandoned Soundcloud and Bandcamp. It's gonna stay there.
